It has been a busy first quarter with exports, which proves that no matter what is happening at home and across the globe “trade will continue”. The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) Quarterly International Trade Outlook reflects this with the first quarter results which you can find in Chamber News.
In this issue we launch a new BREXIT area where we will update you on useful information and guidance as soon as we receive it. Quarterly is about right at the moment as the process is painfully slow at government level.
However, there are ways of planning ahead for Brexit and we continue to provide the guidance and information that will put you in good stead for any eventuality or what may result. The Export Expert: Rules of Origin training is hugely beneficial to exporters, in particular to those who export to the EU only at the moment. Our Export Advice and FAQ’s addresses the much talked about Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status and informs you about the new Customs Declaration System (CDS).
