Welcome from Jane RoseWelcome to the Spring edition of I-Leader. I promise not to mention the “B” word which has been swiftly superseded with the forthcoming Election and the “E” word. I think we have all had our fair share of rhetoric on that front and about to embrace the next wave!
Firstly I would like to thank those businesses who responded to my email with feedback in relation to Parliament’s International Trade Select Committee inquiry into “Support for Export and Investment”. Your views were incorporated into my report and submitted to Parliament.
We have a forward thinking culture here at the Essex Chambers of Commerce and in this quarters publication I think the articles reflect both how we as a Chamber our Patrons, Members and businesses in Essex prepare for what may lay ahead in the world of International Trade.
In our Chamber Export News you can read about our recent visits with Braintree MP James Cleverley, to some of our key businesses.
“The British Chamber of Commerce in Mexico” have profiled Mexico and the trading opportunities that are available to exporters. Our members PAB Languages and ACE Travel compliment this article with valuable advice on cultural awareness, business etiquette and travel requirements.
On the “Forward thinking note” we are delighted to announce the delivery of two new training courses: AEO Awareness and Dangerous goods training. More information can be found in Chamber Exports News.
We are continuing to diversify and grow the events and training courses offered to you focussing on International Trade and Exports. This is a direct result of local businesses enquiring about additional services, please continue to make us aware of your requirements. You can find out more about International Trade Events and Training courses here.
If you have any questions about exporting or the services that we offer please get in touch with our International Trade Team by phoning 01702 560100.
